DIPLOMA IN DIGITAL MARKETING

Course Synopsis:
Digital marketing is the use of internet and digital-based technologies to promote and sell goods and services. The Diploma in Digital Marketing is designed for learners who wish to acquire basic knowledge and skills in digital marketing. Learners will learn how to use channels such as internet, website, social media, search engines and mobile devices to reach prospective consumers.
The learners will develop the knowledge, skills and ability to plan, design and execute digital marketing campaigns using a combination of theoretical learning and practical hands-on training on digital marketing platforms.
Course Objectives:
On completion of the course, learners will be able to:
- Understand and apply the principles of marketing and consumer behaviour on digital marketing
- Understand and use social media to communicate with consumers
- Understand and operate E-Commerce website
- Understand and use online advertising techniques effectively
- Understand and deploy search engine optimization as an effective strategy for digital marketing
Modules:
- Principles of Marketing
The aim of this module is to provide learners with the basics of marketing and consumer behavior. Learners will learn to identify the 4Ps of marketing and how marketing is applied to improve sales. - Online Marketing
The aim of this module is to provide learners with an overview of the digital marketing and the pillars and parts of digital marketing. Learners will learn to identify the various digital marketing platforms and how to put them together for an integrated marketing operation plan.
Upon successful completion of this module, learners may be eligible for the WSQ Statement of Attainment for “Integrated Digital Marketing Campaigns” (TGS-2021006771). - Social Media Communication
This module will equip learners with the knowledge of Branding, Marketing and Public Relations, and skills to brand on online social media. This module will provide learners with the importance of branding and public relations and how to use social media as a communication tool.
Upon successful completion of this module, learners may be eligible for the WSQ Statement of Attainment for “Social Media Branding” (TGS-2021006766). - E-commerce
The aim of this module is to equip learners with the knowledge of E-commerce marketing and fulfilment. Learners will be taught how to deploy E-commerce website and run social commerce livestreaming events.
Upon successful completion of this module, learners may be eligible for the WSQ Statement of Attainment for “E-Commerce & Social Commerce” (TGS-2021019071). - Online Advertising
The aim of this module is to equip learners with the knowledge of Online Advertising and how to deploy landing pages and run online advertising.
Upon successful completion of this module, learners may be eligible for the WSQ Statement of Attainment for “Paid Online Marketing” (TGS-2021020501). - Search Engine Optimization
The aim of this module is to equip learners with the knowledge of Search Engine Optimization technology and how to deploy Search Engine Optimized website.

Assessment Method: | Students will be assessed by a variety of Assessment, practical assessment / written examination. |
Graduation Criteria: | Students who have successfully completed the course by passing every module will be awarded the Diploma in Digital Marketing by AceTek College |
